Le Mare Spas is currently seeking for Make-Up Artists for the 2022 Summer Season (April/ May to October/ November) for its Spa centers in:
Ayia Napa:
- Oriental Spa at Faros Hotel and Iris Spa at Asterias Beach Hotel
Protaras:
- Serenity Spa at Golden Coast Hotel and Sea Breeze Spa at Atlantica Sea Breeze Hotel.

Remuneration & benefits include:
- Salary starts from €1200 to €1400 in accordance to experience and qualifications, plus personal incentives, bonusses & sales percentage.

OBJECTIVE
To provide excellent hands-on therapy services and customer service in a friendly, courteous, efficient and professional manner to guests, participating amongst a team that is familiar with and observes all objectives, standards and procedures as provided by Le Mare Spas.
SCOPE OF THERAPIES
Makeup artists are responsible for consulting with clients and creating custom looks based on their specifications, determining which materials and colors are the most suitable and having knowledge of different color palettes and design styles, provided by Le Mare Spas protocols. The Makeup Artists will need to create unique designs for their clients, requiring them to stay updated on the latest trends in fashion and beauty. You should also be able to build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat appointments.
Daily therapy tasks, responsibilities and duties:
Note: Specific tasks may include but are not limited to:
- Enhancing facial aesthetics through makeup.
- Consulting with clients and creating custom looks based on their specifications.
- Removing makeup.
- Taking lighting and setting into account when applying makeup.
- Determining which materials and colors are the most suitable.
- Ensuring that workstations are kept clean and orderly.
- Ensuring that make up supplies are adequately stocked.
- Using models and fashion magazines as reference points.
- Having a diverse cosmetic toolkit.
- Knowledge of the brands used.
- Consulting clients on their skincare routines.
Operational, general tasks and duties:
Note: Specific tasks may include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring that the operational and the maintenance issues are reported to the Spa Manager/ Receptionist on duty and the appropriate action is taken immediately
- Actively participating in promoting the services individually when needed and as a team.
- Assisting the reception when is needed as requested by the spa Manager/ Receptionist.
- Apply correctly the opening-closing procedures provided by Le Mare Spas and the Hotel
- Assist where necessary the spa team and Spa Manager
- Comply with health and safety regulations
MAKE-UP ARTIST’S REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma.Make-Up/Cosmetologist diploma.
- Proven working experience.
- In-depth knowledge of make-up techniques and cosmetology trends.
- The ability to concentrate for extended periods of time.
- Detail-orientated and patient.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
